This year’s program is scheduled for Thursday, October 16, at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., in the Pavilion of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC. I’m writing to ask for your support of this prestigious event.
Samantha Brown is an American television host. She is most notable for her work as the host of several Travel Channel shows including Girl Meets Hawaii, Great Vacation Homes, Great Hotels, Passport to Europe, Passport to Latin America, Great Weekends, Green Getaways, Passport to China, and Samantha Brown’s Asia. As of 2012 Samantha Brown has made her own travel luggage called Samantha Brown: Travel America. Brown will serve as a co-host of The Trip: 2014, a sweepstakes event that will take viewers on a trip though Spain and Morocco. Brown was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Derry, New Hampshire. She attended both Chapman and Syracuse Universities.
Judi Allen, Senior Vice President, Client Solutions for Nielsen – and a WICT/Multichannel News Wonder Woman, veteran WICT leader and mentor, and former cable marketing and programming executive – will offer keynote remarks. We expect more than 250 cable executives, guests, and friends of WICT to attend the event.
