The pandemic has brought about so many moments of re-evaluation of our goals and priorities. Some of us even took the opportunity to jump into new adventures. Our own ex-WICT Board Member, Metri Holliday, took this moment to pivot and launch her own company - Metri Holliday - right during the middle of a pandemic. Metri Holliday's silk scarves were born from a desire to create something for women to wear that not only effortlessly elevates your style but transforms your mindset too. As she has stated, "Fashion has real power; let’s harness it for our own good." Hear more about how she was inspired to drive this change in her life, how her scarves tell unique stories and how beautiful wearable art can make the shifts in your mindset. Discover The 7 Steps That Make People Take A Chance On You w/ Suneel Gupta

Join Women in Cable Telecommunications DC/Baltimore Chapter for a discussion with Suneel Gupta the author of the upcoming book, Backable: how to inspire people to believe in your ideas. Suneel co-founded and served as the CEO of Rise, a healthcare service that connects patients with medical providers right over your mobile phone. Wired Magazine called Rise “The Next Big Thing” and Apple named it “The Best New App of the Year”. Michelle Obama selected Rise as the White House's official technology partner and the New York Stock Exchange named Suneel the "New Face of Innovation". When a reporter once asked Suneel about his purpose in life, his response was to “find good people, and inspire them to do what inspires them.”
