Know Yourself: Networking in the Digital Age

The networking skills and techniques needed in today’s digital age to leverage your personal attributes and extend your personal brand was the topic of conversation at this event. Ideas were exchanged with industry peers and colleagues during an informative panel discussion featuring networking experts followed by a speed networking session with executive movers and makers.

2018 Holiday Celebration & Fundraiser

WICT and the NAMIC Mid-Atlantic Chapter celebrated our accomplishments and successes from the past year at this year’s holiday event hosted at Charter Communications.  We had a successful silent auction and raised more than $1,000 to help benefit Girls, Inc. of Washington, DC.

PowerBrokers Awards Breakfast

The PowerBrokers Breakfast recognized the following 2018 Touchstones of Leadership Awards honorees who have raised the awareness about women’s impactful contributions at the regional and local level of the cable telecommunications industry. These prestigious awards were presented to executives who have made a difference and a positive contribution in the cable and telecommunications industry through leadership, vision, and dedication.

Visible & Vocal: Women’s Representation In Media

WICT Washington, DC/Baltimore partnered with the National Woman’s Party for a conversation with women in the media who are paving the way for future generations. This thought-provoking and stimulating discussion will provide an opportunity to explore representations of women by the media, the importance of an inclusive media operation created for and by women, and the barriers and challenges that continue to exist today.
