Good afternoon ladies,
Once again, WICT is co-sponsoring a technology panel/discussion to be held
Wednesday, June 25 from 4:30 – 6:00pm, as well as, a post-networking reception
as part of the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo® 2008 “Engineering History in the Making”
June 24–27 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. Additional
details (including the panel of technology experts) are being finalized as we speak
but I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you and other Chapter
members’ attendance at this event.

I also would very much appreciate each of you spreading the word about the
event itself and incorporating the event info onto your individual websites….
WICT is not yet named on SCTE’s website as being a co-sponsor but you can
find the most up to date info on the event itself at www.scte.org.

Please join us in 2008 for a more informative and entertaining season
of WICT DC/Baltimore chapter events

Developing women leaders who transform our industry is WICT's mission.
Women in Cable and Telecommunications
has remained steadfast in its resolve
to advance the position and influence of women through proven leadership
programs and services at both the national and local level. Women in Cable and Telecommunications-Washington/Baltimore Chapter is the 4th largest of 20
chapters nationwide, accounting for more than 13% of WICT's over 5,000 members.

Our primary goal is to serve the needs and interests of each of our members
by providing highly rated programming events with emphasis on networking,
leadership and mentoring. WICT-Washington/Baltimore leverages the impressive
talent pool of top female executives working in cable and telecommunications
in the Washington/Baltimore area to offer programs that allow members access
to top industry leaders. In addition, WICT-Washington/Baltimore Chapter is the
host chapter for the Annual Gala and Accolades Awards held every year in
Washington DC to honor individuals and companies for outstanding industry
